FAQs

What kind of photos do you take?

Couples, families, pets, grads, business owners, side hustlers, elopements, headshots, basically, real folks doing real life. I even do a few weddings a year if the vibe’s right. Got something unique in mind? I’m all ears. Let’s make it happen.

What’s your pricing like?

Flat rates. No fluff. No upsells. Just honest, affordable sessions that won’t wreck your budget. Every package comes with a good chunk of edited, high-res images you’ll actually want to keep and share.

Where do you shoot?

I’m based in Manning, Oregon and roll through Banks, Forest Grove, North Plains, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Portland, and the Oregon Coast. Want me to meet you somewhere epic? I’m down to travel a bit, just ask.

Do you have a contract?

Yes, I do. Every session includes a simple contract that keeps things clear, fair, and stress-free for both of us. It covers the basics like location, timing, edits, and what to expect from delivery. No legalese, just respect and clarity.

Travel Fees

I’m based out of Manning, Oregon, and most shoots in the Banks, Forest Grove, North Plains, Hillsboro, Beaverton, and surrounding areas are included in your flat rate.

If your shoot is more than 25 miles from Manning, I’ll add a small travel fee to cover the gas and time, nothing wild, just enough to keep it fair.

Ask about travel costs up front if you’re not sure. I’ll keep it transparent and chill, always.

Do you require a down payment?

Yep. To lock in your shoot, I ask for either full payment up front or a 50% down payment. The remaining balance is due the day of your session. This helps hold your spot and keeps things smooth on both ends.

How do I get my photos?

I’ll send you a private online gallery with your high-res, fully edited images. You can download and share them however you like—no watermark, no upsell, no nonsense.

Please download your images, don’t screenshot them. Screenshots mess with quality, and you deserve the best version of your memories.

When will I get my photos?

Most sessions are delivered within 2–6 business days. Weddings and longer shoots may take a bit more time, but I’ll keep you updated. I usually sneak you a few early faves too, just to tide you over.

Do you edit the photos?

Yes. Every image gets thoughtful, intentional edits—adjusted for light, color, and that signature Fuji look. No mass-produced presets here. Just real editing, real tones, and real effort to make each shot look like it felt.

What makes Fujifilm so special?

Most photographers rock Canon, Sony, or Nikon. I roll with Fujifilm, and here’s why: Fuji cameras are built to mimic classic film, Kodachrome, Portra, Acros, all those gorgeous vintage looks, with built-in film simulations that give each photo a unique vibe right out of camera.

Fuji’s color science is buttery, nostalgic, and just feels right, especially for the kinds of earthy, real-world shoots I do. It's like having a roll of film loaded at all times, but with modern flexibility.

¿Hablas español?

Sí, hablo español. Si tú o tu familia se sienten más cómodos hablando en español durante la sesión, no hay problema. Estoy aquí para que todos se sientan cómodos y disfruten la experiencia.

Do you do professional headshots?

Yep! $50 flat for a crisp, clean headshot. Great for updating LinkedIn or spicing up your “About Me” page. Quick, painless, and way better than cropping yourself out of last year’s family photo.

Can I bring my dog?

Please do. I’ve got two pups myself, and I love a good pet shoot. I’ll bring the treats, you bring the chaos.

How far in advance should I book?

The sooner the better. I only take on a few shoots a month (I also work full-time), so spots fill up fast. Weddings and elopements should be booked a few months in advance, but for other sessions, 2–3 weeks notice usually works.

What if I need to reschedule?

Totally fine—life happens. Just let me know at least 48 hours ahead and we’ll get you rescheduled. No fees, no stress.

How do I pay?

I’ll shoot you an online invoice, easy to pay via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or cash. Just make sure your payment or down payment is in before shoot day.

Who owns the photos?

Legally, I retain the copyright as the photographer. That’s pretty standard. But you get full personal use rights—you can post, print, gift, and enjoy the heck out of your photos. For biz or branding shoots, commercial use is included. Just don’t resell or submit them to a billboard company without a heads-up.

I don’t see what I’m looking for…

No worries. Hit me up and tell me what you’ve got in mind. I’m all about custom sessions that fit you and your story.
